Ok, now I've heard some years back that if you drink wine with your food that it can help you lose weight because something about the wine digests your food a certain way. Or mabye it has to do with that's how the rich can eat so many courses because the wine affects your digestion.

Can somebody give me the lowdown on this? Any wine experts in here?

I never heard about losing weight, but my Italian Doctor said a glass of wine during dinner is good for the blood.

I've read that red wine is an anti-oxidant. It also helps stress levels if you drink it moderately.

Putting wine in foods also helps cut down on salt since you need less salt if you put wine in your food.

Wine tastes good, gets you drunk, and makes you feel good. Enough said. :)
